Because most Spartan students work either full time or part time, our Job Assistance Department routinely posts opportunities on all campuses. Students are advised on what employment opportunities fit their work experience and are assisted in preparing for interviews.
Through continual contact with a variety of industries, Spartan’s Career Center gathers information about employment opportunities. These job announcements are then distributed to graduating students and alumni.
To ensure that Spartan graduates present themselves in a professional and engaging manner, we conduct career strategy seminars for all graduating classes. These seminars train graduates in preparing résumés and cover letters, completing employment applications, and successfully navigating the job interview. Our Career Center personnel also arrange for industry representatives to visit Spartan, and are available to coordinate on-campus interviews.
